Outside of that region, it really means nothing though. If Jan sees another big boost for Chinese we'll likely see the same for Windows 7 even though it's no longer supported. If you look at previous months as well in Wayback machine you'll notice English and W10 and Chinese and W7 are pretty tied together. Seems very likely the Windows 7 boost is tied to a large boost of the Chinese user base in December. I removed it three times when it was released and I am not going back despite it being free of charge. I know I will never be on 10 in my lifetime.
I'd say those nrs suggest peeps are returning back to 7 from 10 and 8 is not even on the radar. Is that so?įrom the hardware survey Spawn of totoro linked: i doubt many people will stay with windows 7.
